DESCRIPTION:\n\n🚀 NEW TRAINING COURSE ON AI 🚀\n\nThe Professional Engineering Training Division (PETD) of the UP National Engineering Center is excited to introduce its newest training course under the Data Science and Analytics Certification Program, titled Module I: Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs).\n\nIn this ninth module, participants will learn about the foundations, design, and development of Large Language Model and Agentic AI applications using Python and leading open-source technologies, including LangChain, LangGraph, Ollama, Sentence Transformers, vector databases, and locally hosted models. They will build progressively from structured information extraction and local organizational knowledge assistants to tool-using agents, stateful multi-agent workflows, human approval mechanisms, and security guardrails.\n\nLearn more about the training program below:\n📅 Training Dates: November 9–10 & 16–17, 2026 (Mondays & Tuesdays)\n📍 Modality & Venue: Face-to-Face at UP NEC (Juinio Hall), UP Diliman, Quezon City\n🏷️ Training Fee: PHP 18,000.00 (covers training presentations and references, training materials, snacks and lunch, venue, and certificate).\n\n📒 Course Prerequisites:\n1) Must have taken formal courses on Modern Machine Learning (UP NEC Module D: Predictive Analytics – Machine Learning Module or equivalent).\n2) Must have taken basic or intermediate Python programming (UP NEC Module H: Python for Data Science and Analytics or equivalent).\n\n💻 Required Laptop Specifications:\n1) At least an 8-core processor\n2) 24-32 GB of RAM or unified memory\n3) Minimum 80 GB of free SSD storage\n4) For Windows/Linux OS: Optionally includes an NVIDIA GPU with at least 8 GB of VRAM\n5) For Mac: Preferably uses an M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer Apple Silicon processor with at least 24 GB of unified memory.\n\n💡 Laptops that meet only the minimum requirements may still complete the exercises but could experience slower model loading, response generation, and evaluation runs.\n\nInterested in joining the first batch of Module I?\n\n✍🏻 Preregister now! – https://bit.ly/2026NECRegistration\n\n💭 Still have questions?
