    The UP Manila Interactive Learning Center and the College of Medicine Medical Education Unit invites you to Conversations on Remote Teaching and Learning in the Health Sciences with ILC Director Dr. Iris Thiele Isip Tan and MEU Chief Dr. Bernadette Heizel Manapat-Reyes.

    This series will tackle remote teaching and learning in the health sciences. It covers designing a virtual training program (including design principles, curating resources and webside teaching) to assessment and ensuring engagement with online learners. The webinars will run every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 12 nn to 1 pm, beginning Sept 14. Zoom registration is free but slots are limited.

  • Global Assembly on Everyday Life, Gender and Sexuality

    The University of the Philippines Manila Center for Gender and Women Studies (UPM CGWS) in collaboration with SexGen-OTOS: International Network on Sexualities and Genders within Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science will hold its first global endeavor entitled: Global Assembly on Everyday Life, Gender and Sexuality on October 29-30, 2021.

    The conference will create a recognized international safe platform to discuss and exchange information, innovations, and development on occupations with a focus on gender and sexuality. This will help open opportunities for international collaboration on research among advocates, academics, and scientists to advance the Gender and Development Agenda of our University.

    This event will be a gateway for artistic expression such as, but not limited to, film competition, photography contest, and so on that revolves around championing the realities and proposed future of all people across the gender spectrum. Also, research and policies which tackle important gender-related issues.
