The University of the Philippines National Engineering Center (UP NEC) would like to invite you to i-ConNECt: The UP National Engineering Center Free Webinar Series.
The Press-in Method is an advanced piling technique that enables the installation of piles with minimal vibration and noise, making it ideal for use in urban environments and other sensitive areas. One variation, the Hard Ground Press-in Method, is specifically designed to penetrate hard and rocky soils. By utilizing advanced equipment and processes, this method overcomes challenging ground conditions, ensuring the successful installation of piles even in difficult terrain. Other variation, GRB System, Zero Clearance Method, Gyro Press Method is a specialized construction technique that allows for the installation of piles or other foundation elements in some situations. In addition, we will introduce new technologies along with case studies.
i-ConNECt aims to showcase scientific projects, research works, and accomplishments in the field of engineering. The event also aims to raise awareness on the value of engineering and science and their critical roles in improving the quality of life of ordinary people.
