In celebration of International Nurses’ Day with the theme Nurses: A Voice to Lead - A Vision for Future Healthcare, the UPCN as WHO Collaborating Center for Leadership in Nursing Development offers a webinar on the challenges and directions for Leadership in Public Health Nursing. The UPCN also celebrates the partnership with Johnson and Johnson Foundation in the project, NurseLEAD Leadership Course for Advanced Practice in Public Health Nursing.

The webinar titled, “Leadership in Public Health Nursing: challenges and directions” will be held on May 12, 2021, Tuesday, from 10AM to 12NN through Zoom and livestreamed on the UPCN Facebook page. Our speaker Dr. Cora A. Añonuevo will be expounding on the webinar topic. In addition, we have invited an esteemed panel of reactors to discuss the role of nurses and nurse leaders in public health can have a unified approach to addressing prevailing issues and toward the achievement of Universal Health Care.
