
SPECIAL LECTURE: What Matters to Me: Understanding Social Prescribing and Its Impact
The UP Manila Office of International and Local Linkages invites all interested participants to a Special Lecture by Associate Professor Lee Kheng Hock, Director, SingHealth Community Health Office of Learning, Singapore.
This session highlights how outcomes in social prescribing move beyond traditional clinical indicators. A/Prof Lee will introduce methods for measuring patient well-being, social connectedness, and healthcare utilization, demonstrating how data supports policy and program sustainability. The talk will emphasize integrating social prescribing into evidence-based practice and encourage future clinicians to think critically about demonstrating person-centered impact.
About the Speaker: A/Prof Lee is a highly accomplished academic and Senior Consultant specializing in Family Medicine. He obtained his medical degree at the National University of Singapore in 1987. He holds the Master of Medicine Degree in Family Medicine (1993), Diploma in Practical Dermatology (UK) and the Fellow of the College of Family Physicians Singapore (2000).
His primary interests include health assessment, physician training, complexity science, and health services research.
This event is open to all interested students, faculty, research and extension professionals (REPS), healthcare workers, and administrative staff.
