SUMMARY:Ang Tubig\, na Tahanan
DESCRIPTION:Ang Tubig\, na Tahanan\n\nIsang pangwakas na eksibit mula sa Paglayag at Paglaya Program ng Concerned Artists of the Philippines\, UP CSWCD Research and Extension for Development Office (REDO) at mga Komunidad ng Mangingisda ng Pamalakaya\n\nSimula pa noong 2024\, naging katuwang ng Concerned Artists of the Philippines ang Pamalakaya sa paglulubog ng mga artista ng bayan sa mga komunidad ng mangingisda. Work and Community Development\n1st Floor Walkway\n\nSource: College of Social Work and Community Development Facebook

SUMMARY:Renato Constantino Revisited
DESCRIPTION:Save the Date! A convocation in honor of Renato Constantino and current global and national issues blazing in the news today.\n\nWhat is behind the country’s persistent underdevelopment and what explains the acceleration of industrialization among our neighbors? What are the links closely binding decolonization and decarbonization and how do these shape our people’s aspiration to industrialize today? What is the relevance of Philippine history with regard to fossil economy-triggered conflicts in West Asia\, territorial disputes in contested international waters\, and the worsening climate crisis? What is the relevance today of Renato Constantino and Letizia Roxas Constantino and why did they dedicate their lives to advance the cause of nationalism and partisan scholarship in the Philippines?\n\nThese questions and more will be addressed at the event\, which will be held at the UP College of Media and Communication on April 18 from 2-5pm. The Constantino Foundation thanks the UP College of Media and Communication\, Alpha Phi Beta\, Asia-Europe Institute of Universiti Malaya and visiting scholar from Malaysia\, Dr. Rajah Rasiah\, for co-organizing the convocation.
