One of the most important obstacles has been how to keep our workforce afloat. Protecting our workers in critical service delivery areas: energy\, water\, food\, health care\, enforcement — has been challenging but there seems to be a silver lining to whatever clouds have come our way.\n\nIn this episode of STOP COVID DEATHS\, entitled: “MAY LIWANAG BA ANG BUKAS PARA SA MGA HEALTH WORKERS? Lessons gained from the Pandemic”\, we will take a closer look at occupational health during the pandemic and how workplaces have adapted to the pandemic. Dr. Joselito Gapas\, Head of Occupational Health of First Philippine Holdings and the Lopez Group of Companies will talk about workplace preparedness and response to the pandemic from the perspective of the private sector. Dr. Gapas will also talk about the health facility as a workplace\, and what opportunities health workers have to be able to take control over their lives and health — especially during peaks of disease transmission during a pandemic. Veteran journalist Roby Alampay will be reactor at this discussion and will also share his perspective as a manager of a start-up business and as a journalist covering the business beat. The Synthesis and Closing Remarks will be delivered by Dr. Stella Marie L. Jose\, Deputy Director for Health Operations of UP Philippine General Hospital.\n\nThis webinar hopes to give the audience a moment to envision the future and what kind of changes they would like to see. Join us on your online credible community and see you online! Together\, we can STOP C.O.V.I.D. DEATHS!
