In 2023, UP KRC is conducting a core research project under the overarching theme, “A Decade of Korean Studies in the Philippines: A Glance at the Past, A Gaze at the Present, A Glimpse of the Future” to assess Korean studies development in the Philippines.
As part of the project, UP KRC is launching the 2023 UP KRC Global Korean Studies Roundtable with invited panels from UK, Australia, and Thailand who will share information on how Korean studies in their respective country has advanced, what challenges and opportunities are observed, and how academic partnerships can be forged across regions and institutions.
