Catch the screening of Australian filmmaker Andrew Leavold’s documentaries on July 21, 1-6 p.m., at the UP Diliman Film Institute (UPFI) Film Center Videotheque.
This is presented by the UPFI as part of its program “Pulp Friction: Cult Cinema, Pinoy Style!”
The documentaries that will be shown are “The Last Pinoy Action King” (2015) and “The Search for Weng Weng” (2013).
Leovold will also give a lecture on genre, bomba, and bold cinema under the Martial Law at 4 p.m.
