Right to Life, Liberty, and Intellectual Property: Exploring the Interplay Between IP and Human Rights

January 23 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

What is the relationship between intellectual property and human rights? How do patents affect access to affordable medicines and vaccines, especially during a pandemic? Can artificial intelligence own copyright? Is indigenous traditional knowledge protected by our intellectual property regime?

The Law 194 A Class (Intellectual Property and Human Rights) from the UP College of Law invites you to the symposium, “Right to Life, Liberty & Intellectual Property: Exploring the Interplay Between Intellectual Property and Human Rights,” where we present our research on topics exploring how intellectual property affects human rights, and vice versa.
