The Philippine healthcare system faces a significant challenge in the form of glaucoma, a leading cause of irreversible blindness. In this webinar, we will discuss how to effectively identify, diagnose, and manage glaucoma in Filipino patients.

How important are visual field test results? What is the role of advanced imaging techniques in glaucoma detection?

These are just some of the questions that our renowned glaucoma specialists will deliberate on. We will explore the distinct epidemiology of glaucoma in the Philippines, including the prevalence of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) and primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG) among our population. Our reactor is Dr. Maria Margarita D. Lat-Luna, who is the current President of the Philippine Glaucoma Society.
