“From the River to the Sea: America’s Role in Middle East and Southeast Asian Geopolitical Dynamics”

The UP Manila Political Science Program and Political Science 182 WBD class will hold a forum, “From the River to the Sea: America’s Role in Middle East and Southeast Asian Geopolitical Dynamics” on May 15, 2024, Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Little Theater in CAS, UP Manila.
Speakers include Prof. Bobby Tuazon of the UP Manila Political Science Committee and the Center for People Empowerment in Governance, and Prof. Sarah Raymundo of the UP Center for International Studies. Discussions will focus on the rising tensions and new geopolitical alignments in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and the future of United States’ foreign policy in these regions.
The activity is in partnership with the All UP Academic Employees Union – Manila Chapter, and the Office of the Faculty Regent, with the support of the College of Arts and Sciences, in celebration of the 51st anniversary of the UP Manila Department of Social Sciences.
