Flores De Mayo: On-Site Conference on Biocultural Heritage

Meet our esteemed roster of speakers for the second plenary session of the 2024 Flores de Mayo International Festival and Conference!
With the theme of Biocultural Heritage, the session features Filipino scholars and experts whose advocacies center on the protection of our country’s flora and fauna. To this end, it aims to raise awareness in the preservation of both cultural and natural heritage.
Joining the discussion are Dr. Lemnuel Aragones of the UP Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology and Prof. Nick Deocampo of the UP Film Institute. It will be moderated by Dr. Kimberly Benjamin, with Dr. Jasper John Obico delivering the opening remarks.
The conference will be held on 21 May 2024 at 8:30 AM at the UP Manila College of Arts and Sciences Theater.
