Two features from the recent Bangladesh film festival are to screen anew at UPFI Film Center this June courtesy of Bangladesh Embassy in Manila. Rickshaw Girl is a 2021 feature about a teen-aged girl who disguises herself as a boy in order to drive a rickshaw for a living. Mujib is the grand biopic released in 2023 on the life of the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh.
