As part of the National Institutes of Health workshop series, the Newborn Screening Reference Center (NSRC), in collaboration with the Institute of Human Genetics (IHG), is pleased to announce a workshop titled “Keeping the Brain Healthy: Proper Diet and Nutrition for Children Affected by Inborn Errors of Metabolism.” This event is scheduled for March 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and will take place at the National Institutes of Health, UP Manila, P. Gil St., Ermita Manila.

This workshop is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of health professionals, with nutritionist-dietitians as primary target participants. Its primary objective is to equip participants with the ability to effectively manage the nutritional requirements of patients with IEMs within their respective healthcare institutions.

This is a face-to-face event. The fee of Php500 covers snacks and a certificate of participation. Please note that no CPD Units will be awarded.
