The Department of English and Comparative Literature invites you to the launch of Mapping New Stars: A Sourcebook on Philippine Speculative Fiction, edited by DECL faculty members Gabriela Lee, Anna Felicia Sanchez, and Sydney Paige Guerrero, on March 27, 1-3PM, at PAV 1131!
Published by the UP Press, Mapping New Stars: A Sourcebook on Philippine Speculative Fiction is a groundbreaking collection of essays tracing the history and practice of speculative fiction in the country.
Copies of the book will be sold on site, and you can meet writers like Dean Francis Alfar, Nikki Alfar, Yvette Tan, Vida Cruz, Christine V. Lao, Charles Tan, and more of the sourcebook’s celebrated contributors. Say hello, and have your copies signed!
