The early recognition and comprehensive management of pediatric rheumatic diseases remain a formidable challenge, particularly within the unique epidemiological context of the Philippines. While arthritis is commonly associated with the aging population, its insidious onset and diverse clinical manifestations in children often lead to diagnostic delays, which significantly contribute to irreversible joint damage, functional impairment, and diminished quality of life for young patients.

In this week’s episode, we will illuminate the complexities of pediatric arthritis, offering invaluable insights into its pathophysiology, varied clinical presentations, and contemporary management strategies.
