The UP CFA Department of Theory, in partnership with the UP Diliman Office of International Linkages, presents Between Hands & Time, a World Expert Lecture Series with artist Louisa Taylor.

Renowned ceramic artist, educator, and author Louisa Taylor explores the creative world of ceramics in a series of lectures entitled Between Hands & Time: Ceramic Arts in Practice. Drawing from her acclaimed book, Ceramics Masterclass: Creative Techniques of 100 Great Artists, Ms. Taylor will guide audiences through a rich tapestry of ceramic traditions, techniques, and artistic voices from around the world.

Louisa offers an intimate artist talk, sharing insights from her own ceramic practice and her transformative residency at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Through images, stories, and reflections from her personal as well as the collective practice of great artists, Ms. Taylor discusses and celebrates the enduring power of ceramic art.
