“Democratizing Data, From Data to Decisions: Data Science and Explainable AI Conference for Public Policy”

Registration for the Democratizing Data, From Data to Decisions online conference is now open!

In celebration of a “Data Science for Public Policy Week,” the UPCIDS Data Science for Public Policy Program will hold a two-day online conference on “Democratizing Data, From Data to Decisions: Data Science and Explainable AI Conference for Public Policy” on October 27-28, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM via Zoom.

This two-day online conference aims to deepen the discourse on the intersections of data, eXplainable AI, policy making, and good governance. It will feature paper presentations from data science researchers on topics ranging from harnessing AI for good governance to developing data-driven policies and assessment tools among participating government departments down to the barangay level.
