Who profits when communities drown? Who will answer for the floods?

When Great Powers Evade Great Responsibility: Uncovering Corruption through Law and Accountability

The devastation caused by corruption in our flood control systems has left countless Filipino communities submerged. Recent investigations allegedly revealed that nearly P100 billion worth of flood control projects were funneled to a select circle of contractors, reportedly tied to public officials. Behind the scenes: ghost projects, defective infrastructure, alleged kickbacks, and extravagant lifestyles starkly contrasting the suffering of those they were meant to protect.

As protests grow louder, investigations deepen, and criminal complaints inch forward, the call for truth, justice, and systemic reform becomes impossible to ignore.

Join us as we dissect the recent flood control corruption scandal and confront the urgent demand for legal and fiscal accountability. This is more than a conversation; it’s a movement for transparent and just governance.
