“Genomics of venom innovation in cone snails”

The UP Marine Science Institute invites everyone to “Genomics of venom innovation in cone snails,” a talk by Dr. Thomas Lund Koch from the University of Oslo, Norway. The talk will discuss genomic, transcriptomic, and phylogenetic findings on the Conus textile genome, as well as broader questions across the Conoidea superfamily.

Dr. Koch’s talk will be held on February 20, 2026. As a hybrid webinar, guests will be allowed to attend at the MSI AVR or through Zoom.
