UPV Literati, in its dedication to Literature, envisions to provide aspiring writers a platform to hone their craft as storytellers in the making.

This objective has motivated the launching of Artist Talk, to bring aspirants closer to the field of Literature. With this, we are thrilled to announce that, in collaboration with the UPV Language Program, Artist Talk is making a comeback!

It will be a 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 where participants can discover their potential under the guidance of celebrated Filipino literary artists. Regional sensibility and Filipino consciousness hold a different 𝘋𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 when experienced through Filipino and the regional languages such as Hiligaynon, Kinaray-a, and Akeanon.

This matrimony with our artistic and literary roots as the 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘨𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘨-𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘯á𝘨-𝘰𝘯 is an answer to this lifetime calling of giving birth to tales and keeping the istorya alive. 𝘎𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘮á𝘭-𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯 á𝘴𝘵𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵á𝘯-𝘰𝘯, like the moon that has its phases, stories are written and rewritten, told and retold – forever changing and forever alive.
