UP Mindanao Kasadya 2022 Parolan (Lantern Parade) and Christmas Carol and Dance Competition

As #Kasadya2022 draws to its end, get ready to light up the whole UP Mindanao community with the illuminating parols and fill the halls with our Christmas carols as we celebrate the last installment of our official Kasadya festivities with the theme: “Pagtambayayong Lig-onon, Kalambuan Ipadayon” (Strong Partnership, Continuity of Progress)
Witness the ultimate battle of skills, creativity, and craftsmanship during the Parolan Competition and Christmas Carol and Dance Competition this coming December 21, 4PM at the UP Mindanao Atrium. The announcement of winners for the recently concluded Building Decoration Competition will also take place during the program.
In line with these celebrations, we are also inviting everyone to participate in the upcoming Open House party and UP Mindanao’s Community Pantry by immersing with the community, and spreading the spirit of kindness and generosity in the different colleges, units, offices, and departments in the University.
As we culminate this year’s Kasadya celebration, catch the performances of Smuggled Ones, UP Mindanao Koro Kantahanay, and UP Mindanao Dance Ensemble. Join us for a night filled with laughter and joys, collaboration, and artistic display of talents from our homegrown UP Mindanao talents.
On this last day of #Kasadya2022, may we be reminded to stay true to our University virtues which is Honor and Excellence, and uphold the true meaning of this holiday season, that is, to continue building a community grounded in love, peace, and service.
