1st Regional Research and Innovation Week

Come and join the Southern Tagalog Agriculture, Aquatic, and Resources Research, Development, and Extension Consortium (STAARRDEC) as it celebrates its 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗪) with the theme “𝐶𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑦𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑅𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝐴𝑑𝑣𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑐ℎ 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛.” The event will be held at the University of the Philippines – Los Baños (UPLB).

This week-long celebration aims to promote research and innovation culture, disseminate knowledge, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, create networking opportunities, inspire and motivate various stakeholders, engage with the public, showcase impact of Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) endeavors, gather feedback for improvement, attract funding and support, and celebrate achievement.

The Consortium’s celebration will feature a series of activities, including the 36th Regional Symposium on Research, Development, and Extension Highlights (RSRDEH), the 2nd Student Congress, the Search for Ekstensyonistang OA, and the 1st Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Summit and Technology Expo.
