2024 Flores de Mayo International Festival and Conference

Meet our esteemed roster of speakers for the first plenary session of the 2024 Flores de Mayo International Festival and Conference!
With the theme of Festivals and Floral Heritage, the session features scholars and experts from different parts of the world whose studies delve on how flowers and their festivalization shape their respective cultures. Delve into a mosaic of discussions and presentations exploring the profound connections between communities, traditions, and the botanical world.
Joining the discussion are Dr. Honey Libertine Achanzar-Labor, Sita Kumari, Toumairangi Fowlie, Aysegul Tarakci Bilican, and Dr. Carmita Eliza Icasiano. It will be moderated by Dr. Arwin Vibar, with a special inspirational message from the UP Manila Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
The conference will be held on 9 May 2024 at 8:30 AM via Zoom.
