🌸 Celebrate Women’s Month 2026 with Art, Creativity, and Leadership! 🎨

The Art Education Area, in partnership with the Art Ventures and Advocacy Network (ArtVAN), invites you to the opening of our Women’s Month exhibit: “Hiraya Filipina: Mangarap. Lumikha. Mamuno.” Join us as we celebrate the boundless vision, creativity, and diverse experiences of the modern Filipina through visual arts, providing a meaningful space for reflection on women’s roles in education, community building, and nation-making.

Following the exhibit opening, dive into our hands-on art workshops designed to enrich the professional and creative practices of the UPCEd community. No prior art experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm! ✨

⏰ Afternoon Schedule:
1:30 PM: “Hiraya Filipina” Exhibit Opening
2:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Art Workshops (Registration opens at 2:30 PM)

Choose your creative adventure for the workshop (Limited to 20 slots each!):

📱 Workshop 1: Mixed Media Animation (Room 106) Transform your device into a portable studio! Learn to blend live-action video with digital illustrations using apps like CapCut and Canva.
What to bring: Any device with a Wi-Fi connection.

🧶 Workshop 2: Fuzzy Wire Sculpture (Room 114) Relax and get hands-on by bending and twisting colorful fuzzy wires into fun shapes like flowers, animals, or abstract art.

What to bring: Nothing! All materials are provided—just bring yourself! 😁
