Invited as a Visiting Research Fellow and World Expert for Applied Theatre, Dr. Dennis D. Gupa will share his pedagogy and work that connects the University of Winnipeg to the global practice of applied theatre. His fellowship will center on ecological issues in oceans, lakes, and rivers, and how theatre and performance research can mobilize community and global connections in responding to the climate crisis.

The lecture is sponsored by the UP System Office of International Linkages under the World Expert Lecture Series, organized by the Institute of Biological Sciences-College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Development Broadcasting and Telecommunication-College of Development Communication, Radyo DZLB Ang Tinig ng Kaunlaran, and the UPLB Media and Communication Office, and supported by the Office of the Chancellor and the College of Economics and Management.
