This CAL Bahaginan Forum from the DSCTA for the month of October 2024 aims to illuminate these critical turns through responding to the following key questions:
What are the orthodox traditions of thought and practice that have long governed the production of knowledge in your area of concentration (AOC)?
In what ways does your AOC relate/respond to these traditional epistemological and methodological formations?
How do the Speech Communication faculty take stock of critical theories and methodologies in their course offerings, pedagogies, and scholarly publications?
In what ways can the courses, goals, assessment instruments, and academic requirements of your AOC be transformed with these critical theories and methodologies?
What curricular, research, and extension service agenda can the DSCTA institute with these critical theories and methodologies serving as primary guides?
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with leading scholars as they redefine pedagogical and research frameworks, fostering critical and innovative approaches in speech communication.
