Clarifying Fake News on Comprehensive Sexuality Education

The University of the Philippines Institute of Human Rights (UP IHR) invites the public to an online event titled: Forum on Clarifying Fake News on Comprehensive Sexuality Education, to be held via Zoom on 17 February 2025 (Monday) from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Recently, misinformation about the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) has fueled debates surrounding Senate Bill No. 1979 or the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Bill. The forum thus seeks to clarify misconceptions, provide expert insights, and foster a well-informed public discussion on the role of CSE in addressing adolescent pregnancy in the country.

This event is open to policymakers, educators, legal professionals, advocates, students, and all individuals interested in understanding the facts and importance of CSE.
