UP Diliman College of Architecture, Urban Design Studio Laboratory, Environmental Landscapes Studio Laboratory, and the Integrated Graduate Program invite you to “Contextualizing Nature-Based Solutions in Emerging Cities,” on 08 April 2025, Tues from 2PM to 5PM, at the MOFA, University of the Philippine College of Architecture. This interactive F2F seminar explores the role of nature-based solutions (NBS) in addressing climate adaptation challenges in rapidly urbanizing regions.
Our guest speaker, Ana Polgar, a doctoral researcher from the School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP), University of British Columbia, shall introduce key concepts and case studies from Canada, Ghana, Kenya, the Netherlands and South Africa. As part of the program, our participants shall engage in a workshop focusing on the Philippine context.
