“Data-Driven and Intelligent Systems Approaches to Catalysis: From Noncovalent Interactions to Computer-Aided Synthesis and Catalyst Design”

The UP Intelligent Systems Center (UP ISC), Institute of Chemistry, and the Good ViBEs Lab are delighted to invite you to an insightful session on cutting-edge approaches in catalysis research by Dr. Seiji Mori of the Institute of Quantum Beam Science from Ibaraki University, Japan.
In his webinar titled “Data-Driven and Intelligent Systems Approaches to Catalysis: From Noncovalent Interactions to Computer-Aided Synthesis and Catalyst Design”, Dr. Seiji Mori will discuss the role of noncovalent interactions in the research of enzymatic and homogenous catalysis.
This talk will highlight recent findings that integrate noncovalent interactions into energy decomposition analysis, offering new insights for catalyst design. Dr. Mori will also give an overview of the Institute of Quantum Beam Science of Ibaraki University, a unique academic hub for interdisciplinary research and education.
