“Defending the West Philippine Sea: Challenges and Opportunities”

The Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Public Service and UP Manila Political Science Society (UP Polis) of the College of Arts and Sciences gladly invites you this November 16, 2023 (Thursday) to the CAS Invited Talk entitled “Defending the West Philippine Sea: Challenges and Opportunities” with Atty. Jay L. Batongbacal, the Director of the Institute for Maritime Affairs and Law of the Sea at UP Diliman.
The event will be held at the UPM CAS Theater, 12:00 NN to 2:00pm. This talk will tackle the pressing territorial issues our country currently faces regarding the West Philippine Sea due to recent Chinese incursions and aggression.
