Don Belong Lectures

The UP College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) Folklore Studies Program warmly invites everyone to the Don Belong Lectures on 07 May 2025 at Pilar Herrera Lecture Hall, Palma Hall, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Named after the foremost Filipino folklorist, Isabelo de los Reyes, this year’s Don Belong Lectures include papers that examined and expanded on De los Reyes’ works on Philippine folklore. The event will also serve as the formal launch of the special issue of Banwaan: The Philippine Journal of Folklore, “Isabelo’s Folklore,” edited by Emmanuel Jayson V. Bolata at Vincent Christopher A. Santiago.
