The Program on Social and Political Change (PSPC), UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies (CIDS) is launching the website of and holding a miniforum on the “Philippine Local Government Interactive Dataset Project,” on 8 November 2024, 9:00 am–12:00 nn (Philippine Standard Time), UP CIDS, Lower G/F, Ang Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman, Quezon City. The event is free and open to the public, but seats are first-come, first-served. Participants are encouraged to register.
About the Project
The “Philippine Local Government Interactive Dataset Project” is a website that compiles publicly available electoral and fiscal data from 1992 to 2022 from multiple sources, and presents this information in a user-friendly interface complete with charts, graphs and other modes of visualization.

Philippine Local Government Interactive Dataset Project: The Website Walkthrough
Rogelio Alicor Panao, PhD, Convenor, Program on Social and Political Change, UP CIDS will introduce the dataset to key stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, researchers, media, and the general public. Dr. Panao will also demonstrate the dataset’s functionalities and potential applications for research, advocacy, and policymaking.
