“Emerging Issues in Impeachment”

The University of the Philippines College of Law and the Malcolm Foundation invite the public to “Emerging Issues in Impeachment,” a legal forum on February 19, Wednesday, 2 to 5 p.m. at the UP BGC Auditorium (32nd Ave., Taguig City).
The forum will feature two panels, with the following speakers:
Panel 1: Emerging Issues in Impeachment
– Sen. Franklin Drilon (member, Estrada and Corona impeachment courts)
– Supreme Court Assoc. Justice (Ret.) and Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales (ponente, Francisco v. House of Representatives)
– Comm. Rene Sarmiento (member, 1986 Constitutional Commission)
– Prof. Gwen G. De-Vera (professor of constitutional law, U.P. College of Law)
– Prof. Theodore O. Te (professor of evidence, U.P. College of Law)
Panel 2: The Duterte Impeachment and Lessons from the Past
– Cong. Ysabel Maria J. Zamora (member, House Panel of Prosecutors)
– Atty. Sheila C. Sison (Partner, Fortun Narvasa & Salazar and counsel for Vice-President Duterte)
