First Steps on Wikipedia, an Avenue for Public Archaeology

You’ve certainly already read numerous Wikipedia pages. But have you ever edited the world’s largest encyclopedia? That’s actually easier than it seems, and, as archaeologists, that’s a serious avenue to significantly contribute to the diffusion of archaeological knowledge.

During this one-hour introductory and informal workshop, we’ll explore together Wikipedia’s English (https://en.wikipedia.org) and Tagalog (https://tl.wikipedia.org) versions, the different edition interfaces, and identify the most urgent needs regarding the archaeology of the Philippines.
