“From Data to Disaster Readiness: Empowering Communities through STEM Education” Part 2

In celebration of its 61st anniversary, the University of the Philippines National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (UP NISMED) proudly presents a Public Lecture titled, “From Data to Disaster Readiness: Empowering Communities through STEM Education.” This will be held in two parts:

Part 1: 25 November 2025 (Tuesday) at 9:00 a.m.
Part 2: 1 December 2025 (Monday) at 2:00 p.m.

Both sessions will be available online via livestream on the UP NISMED Facebook page and NISMED TV YouTube channel.

The first part of the event will also mark the launch of new learning and instructional materials developed by UP NISMED to enhance STEM teaching and learning in classrooms across the country.

Join us as we uncover how STEM education transforms data into action and empowers communities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters with greater resilience.
