Moreover, Rita’s influence extends far beyond her personal artistic creations. Through her role as founder of the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts Ceramic Studio and as a mentor within the Tahanan Pottery Studio community, she has generously shared her knowledge, shaping the next generation of ceramic artists. This community she has cultivated, molded like clay, has become an integral part of her legacy, ensuring her lasting impact on the evolution and practice of Philippine ceramic art.
