Highlight of ADB’s Key Indicators 2023: A Webinar Organized by the DPSM-Public Service Committee in Collaboration with Asian Development Bank (ADB)

The Public Service Committee of the Division of Physical Sciences and Mathematics is pleased to invite you to participate in the webinar entitled “Highlights of ADB’s Key Indicators for Asia and the Pacific 2023”, with resource persons from the Asia Development Bank (ADB): Joseph Albert Nino M. Bulan, Andrea Felice Quinial, and Jeffrey Napoles.
Mr. Joseph is currently a Statistics Analyst who serves as a focal person for poverty and inequality. Ms. Quinial is an economics and statistics specialist who is part of the team behind the Key Indicators for Asia and the Pacific publication, while Mr. Napoles is part of the team of developers that put together the Key Indicators statistical database.
This online event will be held on October 20, 2023, at 9:30 to 10:30 AM via Zoom. The topic of the webinar shall focus on the key findings from the bank’s statistical annual flagship publication, Key Indicators for Asia and the Pacific, particularly on the methodology they applied in estimating the region’s poverty levels during the pandemic, and on the topic of poverty premium.
