Lessons from the Past.
The 2006 Solar 1 Oil Spill in Southern Guimaras caused significant damage to coastal communities and the surrounding environment. Last month, the MT Princess Empress caused an oil spill in Oriental Mindoro and it has already reached the coastline of Semirara and Liwagao Islands, Municipality of Caluya, Antique. Join us in the first HyFlex seminar of the year as the faculty from the Division of Biological Sciences look back on their findings on the impact of the 2006 oil spill on flora and fauna.
