International Mother Language Day 2024

Join us in celebrating the International Mother Language Day 2024 on 21 February (Wednesday), 10:00am to 1:00pm, at UP NISMED Auditorium.
The event, with the theme Multilingual education: An essential strategy for transforming education systems, is co-organized by the UP Department of Linguistics and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Manila.
The Keynote Speaker will be Prof. Dina Ocampo of the UP College of Education, with remarks from His Excellency F.M. Borhan Uddin, Bangladesh Ambassador to the Philippines, and Mr. Gustavo González, UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator.
