In a period of two years, from June 2020 to November 2022,the EDSA Busway already monitored a total of 130,238,608 commuters.

Due to this glaring relevance, the EDSA Busway is featured in the studies of Professor Noriel Christopher Tiglao, a faculty member of NCPAG. In his ongoing research titled “Digitally Enabled Collaborative Governance Platform for Improving EDSA Busway Operations and Management”, Prof. Tiglao and his team aim to design a digitally enabled collaborative platform to monitor the demand and supply of the EDSA busway line. The digital platform will serve to guide its planning requirements and system management tasks.

In the webinar, “PAbaon Brown Bag Lecture No. 1: Enabled Collaborative Governance Platform for Improving EDSA Busway Operations”, the CLCD aims to gather the academe and the stakeholders together and provide a venue for exchanging ideas and insights to enhance the EDSA busway operations and improve its public service to millions of commuters.
