“Old Iskul, Old is Cool” Art Exhibition

Parola presents Old Iskul, Old is Cool, a group exhibition featuring UP College of Fine Arts alumni of the 1970s to the 1990s, opening on Saturday, September 20 at the Atrium of Parola.
“Old Iskul, Old is Cool” traces the trajectories of artists whose practices have shaped and been shaped by decades of shifting cultural landscapes. The exhibition opens a dialogue between past and present, where early student works, evolving visions, and recent pieces reveal how memory, discipline, and experimentation continue to transform. More than a reunion, it is a mapping of artistic legacies: a constellation of images, gestures, and forms that remain vital to understanding the place of art in both personal and collective histories.
The exhibition will also feature upcoming events such as artist walk-throughs and artist talks. Dates and details will be announced soon. Watch out for updates!
Join us as we revisit the vibrant spirit of the UP CFA from the 70s to the 90s, and celebrate the creative journeys that continue to inspire today.
