PasKOOPerasyon

The UPV Employees Cooperative (UPVEC), UPV Ugnayan ng Pahinungod/Oblation Corps (UPV UP/OC), and CFOS Public Service Program (CPSP), together with its partner CFOS student organizations, will be launching “PasKOOPerasyon” this December 17, 2022. It is envisioned to become a year-end annual activity of UPVEC and its partners to render assistance and service to coastal communities and other UPV stakeholders.
This year, PasKOOPerasyon will hold a Christmas gift-giving program to help the coastal families of Miagao, Iloilo that were affected by Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Paeng last October. This activity aims to provide an avenue for the UPV community to uplift their spirits through the sharing of meals, grocery packs, and engaging games with prizes.
Moreover, seriously affected fisherfolk households will also be given fishing gear or boat repair materials and alternative livelihood assistance to help them gradually recover from STS Paeng’s aftermath.
