Publishing Workshop: The Peer-Review Process & Suggestions from an Editor Perspective

The UP Resilience Institute would like to invite the UP Diliman research community to a Publishing Workshop this coming 30 September 2024, 2:00 PM at the Melchor Hall Theatre.
Our esteemed speaker and facilitator will be Dr. Bruce D. Malamud, Director of the Durham University Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience and an Executive Editor of the Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences journal of the European Geosciences Union – EGU. This interactive workshop will look at the peer-review process and provide suggestions from an editor’s perspective for early career scientists and researchers, and even experienced authors, on getting through the review process.
Dr. Malamud will also cover the use of Artificial Intelligence and systematic critical literature reviews.
