Guillermo, PhD, Director of the University of the Philippines Center for International Studies, answers this question through a lecture on ‘‘Research Under Martial Law.” His lecture will provide an overview of the research landscape in the Philippines during Martial Law; discuss its long-term impact on conducting research; elaborate particularities of research in UP during this period; and reflect on whether these experiences resonate today, given that the Marcos family is back in power. ✊⚖️
