About the Colloquium:
This year’s undergraduate colloquium highlights the power of English language studies in addressing and interrogating urgent sociocultural, political, and identity-based issues in the Philippines. With diverse theoretical lenses and analytical methods, the student presentations delve into how language shapes and is shaped by the dynamics of representation and power. It aims to create space for dialogue, reflection, and collaboration among scholars and language advocates.
