Social Work in the Post-COVID Era

The UP Diliman College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) SW 220 class will hold the webinar series “Social Work in the Post-COVID Era” on Friday, January 13, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The webinar series will feature the topics “Pandemya…Batang Ina—Teenage Pregnancies During the Pandemic: Lessons and Recommendations for Social Work in the Post-COVID Era” (10 a.m.-12 p.m.) and “Extraordinary Social Workers in Extraordinary Times: Challenges, Self-Care Strategies, and Success Stories From Social Work Practice at the Time of the Pandemic” (2-4 p.m.).

This is organized by the SW 220 (Generalist Social Work Practice) class under the supervision of Suzanne Magalona-Nazal, an assistant professor from CSWCD, in partnership with the UP Junior Social Workers’ Association of the Philippines (JSWAP).
