“Unheard Voice: (The Lack of ) Freedom of Association among Workers in the Philippine EPZs (Export Processing Zones)”

June 15 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

The freedom to form unions or associations is a basic fundamental right as stipulated in the Philippine Constitution. However, workers seem to be struggling with the formation of unionism and its activities within the area of responsibility of Philippine Export Processing Zones.

The lack of freedom of association is a challenge for the workers as it limits their rights to bargain and leaves the voice of the workers unheard.

The IR Class of 216 A.Y. 2023 – 2024 would like to invite everyone for a free webinar with the theme “Unheard Voice: (The Lack of ) Freedom of Association among Workers in the Philippine EPZs (Export Processing Zones)”
