UP Baguio’s December Activities

Foundation Day, Pag-iilaw to start UPB’s December activities

The University of the Philippines Baguio (UPB) starts the countdown for its December activities beginning with the commemoration of its 23rd Foundation Day followed by the campus lighting ceremony or “Pag-iilaw” both on December 2.

With the theme “Paskong Iskolar: Liwanag ng Bayan, Liwanag ng Pag-asa” the event will also see the resumption of the lantern parade, a traditional component of UPB’s year-end activities but which was suspended due to the pandemic.

Highlighting the festivities is the “Pasiklaban 2025,” to be held on December 12. The Christmas frolics brings together faculty and students in a night of performances and talent presentations, all in the spirit of fun and fellowship.
